Non-Funded Diplomas

This is ideal for those aspiring to move into a management role or you are already in a junior supervisory/management position and want to develop your skills further.

The Diploma will develop the skills necessary to lead and manage teams. You’ll need to have some supervisory/management responsibilities, like supporting, managing and developing team members, involved in projects, planning ahead and monitoring workloads and resources.

You may also be involved in delivering operational plans, resolving problems, or building work relationships with colleagues at the same level or above.

This is designed for those already working in an established management role. It is set at a standard suitable for those who are managing teams or projects and are responsible for achieving operational or departmental goals as part of the organisations strategy.

You may be accountable to a senior manager or the business owners. Other responsibilities may include managing change, financial and resource management, talent management, coaching and mentoring.

This is designed to enable existing and aspiring senior managers, working in the operational or strategic field, to develop and enhance their current leadership and management skills. It is most appropriate for those well established in a management role, already comfortable with providing direction and leadership, in addition to managing resources, performance, finances and change.

This 60 credit Diploma sits within post-graduate levels of education. It is equivalent to a PG Certificate and one-third of a Master’s degree in most UK Business Schools.

You’ll be working at scale, leading large, multi-disciplinary teams based on multiple sites via GP Federations, Super Practices, PC Networks, Training Hubs and ICS’s.
