The following programme, one of the PMA ‘Excellence in….’ series acknowledges that the Human Resource role varies enormously in scope and responsibility within primary care and the healthcare sector. As such, we have split the programme into Sections and highlighted the difference between Transactional HR – the day-to-day employment processes and interactions which are the nuts and bolts of workforce management.
Underpinning the new care service model is the choice and control given to individuals through the Personalised Care model. This PMA online programme consists of five comprehensive modules, each with several units, aimed at the three personalised care roles, the Social Prescribing Link Worker, the Care Coordinator, and the Health and Wellbeing Coach.
This course aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the core knowledge and key components required to take responsibility for the effective maintenance of primary care finance systems within a practice or group of practices.

In order to support the development needs of the non-clinical workforce in care settings, the PMA are offering this new e-learning programme to enhance traditional learning and reinforce existing training methods. We are delighted to share details of the first of many PMA e-learning options.
Building on the success of our Level 2 Certificate, this Advanced Certificate continues to be developed around the 8 core competencies of the 4-tier framework for a career pathway for the non-clinical health and social care workforce developed by Our Healthier South East London (OHSEL).
By October 2020, all health and adult social care organisations which process and/or disclose confidential patient information (CPI) that originates within the health and adult social care system in England are required to consider if national data opt-outs should be applied to disclosures of CPI, for purposes beyond individual care.
