Staffordshire PM Conference

PMA scheduled virtual workshops are delivered online offering a convenient way to join these popular and interactive learning events.

SPACER

PMA’s web workshops are available on scheduled dates and are open to all primary care staff across the UK. Delivered as interactive online sessions, these workshops are part of the Primary Care Management Programme and can be booked as a complete series or as standalone sessions to suit your development needs.

Each online workshop lasts for either 2 or 3 hours, offering staff access to engaging, practice-focused training. You can book these sessions directly for a tailored learning experience.

You can book each session for £85.00 per person by selecting the workshop/s you’re interested in to access the booking link.

If you’d like to book the full programme, please select the Primary Care Management Programme listed below.

The web workshops can be accessed from any device and are delivered LIVE by our facilitators. Delegates can interact and engage during the sessions via polls, direct interaction and by posting questions through the system. The presentation slides and handouts will be emailed ahead of each session to allow delegates to print the exercises that will be an integral component of the web workshop format. You can, of course, also keep these for reference.

The PMA team will be on hand and online during the session to help and assist delegates with any technical issues and to ensure that they can log on to the system.

After the web workshop, delegates will be asked to complete a short feedback survey on the session and everyone attending the session will receive a PMA Certificate of Attendance.

Features

PMA use MS Teams to host our web workshops. It provides secure access for NHS staff and provides delegates with the right training environment to engage with our facilitator. All attendees will be muted through the session to limit interruptions and any background noise but will be able to engage by raising a virtual hand to ask questions at any time. We can post questions to our delegates via interactive polls, use whiteboards to illustrate topics and will unmute attendees to ask questions. Numbers will be limited to ensure there is an opportunity for everybody to engage.

Benefits

Learn anywhere – you are able to access our web workshops from any location i.e. practice, home, office, or elsewhere via a laptop, PC or smartphone as long as they have internet access.

PMA will award those attending any six PMA web workshops with the prestigious PMA Excellence in Practice Management Certificate.

Correspondence Management represents one of the new processes that was swiftly adopted during COVID. It is especially important as there has been a substantial increase in correspondence being received in practice. To enable a more streamlined GP workload, valuable GP time must be released. This will be achieved by training non-clinical staff to manage all incoming documentation including clinical correspondence and safely redirecting only the most appropriate information to GP’s.
