This web workshop is part of a wider programme to provide an introduction to new frontline staff or those working in general practice who would benefit from understanding the component parts of Administration in general practice including medical terminology, confidentiality and GDPR, how to register patients and clinical correspondence.
An understanding of basic medical terminology is essential for anyone working in the medical industry. We will also look at how to confidentiality and GDPR, how to register patients and clinical correspondence. Delegates will be able to apply the learning to every-day situations back in the practice.
The workshop will be interactive – delegates will be encouraged to share any challenges and conflicts they may have already encountered – our facilitator will also share their experiences from GP practice.
Slides handouts will be sent to delegates prior to this web workshop and certificates of attendance are awarded after the workshop.
