This web workshop will give delegates a clear understanding of both the transactional elements of Clinical Coding and the transformational change it has brought to GP practices. We will look at helpful tips and guidance which support accurate clinical coding in practice.

SNOMED CT** (Systematised Nomenclature of Medicine – Clinical Terms) is the common clinical language that has replaced read codes within the NHS.

SNOMED CT is a comprehensive clinical terminology that makes healthcare information accessible and usable across the globe. SNOMED provides a “common language” comprised of concepts, terms and relationships that enable a consistent way of capturing, sharing and aggregating health data across clinical specialties and different sites of care.

At the PMA we pride ourselves on the understanding that one size doesn’t fit all and – therefore, we have various formats of our workshops and can adapt any programme / agenda to suit your local needs and necessaries – so, please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
