Effective Communication skills are among the most essential ones for every professional. We use all types of Communication on a daily basis, and thus it is imperative that we use them with maximum efficiency and be able to communicate clearly while also comprehending the communications of those around us. Whether you are talking to a team member, a patient, a supplier or presenting your ideas to the practice – communication is key for reaching your goals.
This web workshop been developed to support front line staff and other health care professionals in General Practice to develop their communication skills. The main aim of this training course is to enable participants with an understanding of the impact that their communication skills can have on others, while exploring the different ways in which developing these skills can make it easier for them to succeed in the health care setting and beyond.
This web workshop equips delegates with effective Communication tools and techniques. It helps you to fine-tune the way you interact and looks at the various communication channels, styles and models. The ability to communicate effectively empowers you to converse, command and delegate as well as recognise subtle non-verbal Communication and to achieve your professional objectives with confidence.
Outcomes of the workshop
By the end of the web workshop delegates will be able to:
- Get their message across in all situations with clarity, brevity and impact.
- Know how to engage their audience to gain buy-in and trust.
- Understand effective communications and the positive effect this has on service delivery.
- How to communicate effectively.
- Enhance their listening skills to better understand others and achieve greater results.
