This web workshop is for Senior Managers, Practice or Administration Managers in Primary care who need to gain a thorough understating of the Delivery Plan for Recovering Access to Primary Care. During the workshop, delegates will gain a detailed understanding of the new contractual requirements around access to GP services.
The changes to the GP contract for 2023/24 set out the requirements of General Practice and PCNs, driven by the need to improve the patient experience and patient satisfaction.
The workshop will explore the changes needed and the support at a system level, including freeing up workforce capacity through changes to the Impact and Investment Fund (IIF) and through the QOF Quality Improvement (QI) modules.
The changes include access to GPs and other appropriate signposted services, access to medical records – and what this involves at a practice level and will also cover how they access general practice services – in particular via cloud-based telephony – and how this fits with the wider drivers for digital transformation.
