This webinar will provide an introduction to the GP referral pathway to the Community Pharmacist Consultation Service explaining what it is, why use it and how to implement it in your practice/PCN.
The webinar will:
- provide an overview of the GP CPCS pathway
- detail the benefits of the pathway to practices and patients
- provide lived experience stories from practice managers and a community pharmacist of how the pathway was implemented in their practice/PCN/pharmacy, the difference it has made and how patients have welcomed it
- share how Avon LPC has worked with practices in the Southwest to successfully implement the pathway
- demonstrate how relationships can be built between general practice and community pharmacy in a practical and approachable way
- provide an opportunity to ask questions and engage with speakers.
