Current guidance from the NHS regarding the role of chaperones recommends that all staff should understand the role of the chaperone and the procedures for raising concerns and that all formal chaperones understand their role and responsibilities and are competent to perform that role.
Chaperone guidance and training is for the protection of both patients and staff and this guidance should always be communicated to the relevant teams and any new starters and followed.
At the PMA we pride ourselves on the understanding that one size doesn’t fit all and – therefore, we have various formats of our workshops and can adapt any programme / agenda to suit your local needs and necessaries – so, please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
