The programme combines self-directed and social learning, enabling learners to apply their development directly to real-world management challenges while building professional networks and sharing experience with peers.

The 60-credit Diploma consists of three mandatory units:

  • Developing Leadership and Management Capability Through Enquiry – exploring an enquiry-based approach to management and professional development.
  • Developing a High-Level Business Case – developing business cases, presenting proposals for change and leading implementation.
  • Developing and Maintaining a High-Performance Culture and Optimising Resources – exploring approaches to creating high-performance cultures and making effective use of organisational resources.

The programme combines knowledge-based and competence-based learning, giving learners the underpinning knowledge and practical skills required to perform effectively at a senior level.
